We have chosen to be based in Leeds due to good train connections to the rest of the UK. I decided to look into some train times and availability from Leeds. This was not my responsibility and Issy did take charge of the role in the end.

The cost difference does not alter much after 2 weeks in advance but it alters massively from the next day to one week in advance.

OUGD502: Personal Professional Practice - Branding Research

____

Branding Research:

As we have to come up with a design presence I carried out a search of existing self branding used at the moment. This is simply visual research and I am only going to refer to the content of the branding more than the design. I think that I will pay particular attention to the mock up and layout of the branding for my own presentation and final outcomes.

I know now that I need a CV, Invoice, Portfolio and an online presence and look forward to coming up with my own personal brand.

OUGD502: PPP2 - Numiko Research

____

Numiko came into college to talk to us about digital design. I loved their presentation and also the work that they produced. I decided to look into them in more detail.

Numiko have some really interesting briefs on their website, it is clear to me that the work has a deep concept to it and doesn't just look pretty. I think that this is something I need to show in my own work.

One of the projects that Numiko presented to us was the Make Things, Do Stuff website they designed for Nesta. I was immediately blown away by this project and this is the reason that I want to work with them.

I used this website for primary research and also inspiration for one of my websites for the 504 module.
